1.8GHz RF Circulator DCS Mobile Communication

The 1.8GHz RF circulator is a core passive microwave component specially optimized for DCS (Digital Communication System) mobile communication networks, which operates precisely in the mainstream 17101880MHz frequency band dedicated to DCS cellular systems. As a non-reciprocal three-port ferrite device, it features unidirectional signal transmission characteristics, enabling stable signal circulation in the fixed sequence of port 1 to port 2, port 2 to port 3, and port 3 to port 1. This unique working principle effectively isolates uplink and downlink signals of mobile base stations, thoroughly solving the signal crosstalk and interference problems caused by simultaneous transmitting and receiving operations in DCS communication equipment. Different from general RF circulators, this 1.8GHz model is tailored to the signal transmission rules of DCS networks, with optimized electromagnetic parameters to adapt to the high-density signal coverage scenario of urban mobile communication systems.

In DCS mobile communication infrastructure, the 1.8GHz RF circulator undertakes two key core functions: signal duplexing and equipment protection. On the one hand, it supports full-duplex communication for base station transceivers, allowing transmitting signals from power amplifiers to be smoothly delivered to antennas and weak received signals from antennas to be accurately transmitted to low-noise amplifiers without mutual interference. On the other hand, it can effectively isolate reflected signals generated by antenna mismatch and channel fluctuation, preventing high-power reflected signals from damaging precision transceiver components such as power amplifiers and receivers. This protective performance greatly improves the operational stability and service life of DCS base station equipment, reducing frequent equipment failure and maintenance costs caused by signal reflection.

This circulator boasts excellent industrial performance indicators suitable for large-scale mobile communication deployment. It features ultra-low insertion loss below 0.3dB, which minimizes RF signal energy loss during transmission and ensures stable signal strength in DCS coverage areas. Meanwhile, it provides high isolation performance above 20dB, which completely suppresses mutual interference between transceiver channels and guarantees the clarity and accuracy of voice and data transmission in mobile communication. With compact size, lightweight design and strong environmental adaptability, it can adapt to complex outdoor working conditions such as high temperature, low temperature and humidity. It is widely applied in DCS macro base stations, indoor distributed antenna systems and mobile communication repeater equipment, becoming an indispensable key component to ensure the smooth operation of 2G, 3G and 4G hybrid DCS communication networks.
